KRILF Scientists Participate in International Mission to Mongolia
Aug 29, 2025

From August 17 to 24, 2025, scientists from the Forage and Pasture Department of the Kazakh Research Institute of Livestock and Forage Production (KRILF) took part in activities under the Dryland Sustainable Landscapes Impact Program (DSL-IP) in Central Asia.
The international mission was organized by the Association of Ecological Organizations of Kazakhstan (AEOK) with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Mongolia. During the visit, the KRILF team participated in seminars, technical presentations, and meetings with government officials of Mongolia. They also toured production facilities, including the SOR cashmere factory and the “Mon Pelle” organic fertilizer plant.
This international mission provided KRILF researchers with valuable experience, strengthened professional ties with international partners, and opened discussions on future collaboration in sustainable pasture ecosystem management across arid regions of Central Asia.
