Research on the cattle breeding sector:
- Development and implementation of effective breeding methods and techniques;
- Development of new genotypes of beef cattle and the application of scientifically sound selection methods that ensure the consolidation and development of genetic traits across generations of offspring;
- Studying the breeding potential of bull lines and related groups in crossbreeding, and applying effective combinations in practical breeding;
- Optimization of selection criteria and utilization in the breeding of the breeding stock;
- Identifying bulls that improve the traits under selection by testing their own productivity and evaluating the quality of their offspring;
- Studying the adaptive and acclimation characteristics of imported beef cattle under new breeding conditions;
- Developing recommendations for the organization and implementation of breeding and selection programs and the consolidation of new dairy cattle breeds in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Development of efficient methods for raising young stock and selecting them for herd replacement in dairy cattle farming;
- Development and implementation of modern feeding and husbandry technologies.
