Scientists of KazNIIZhiK Took Part in a Conference on AI and Education

On November 26, 2025, scientists of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Feed Production (KazNIIZhiK) took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Artificial Intelligence and the Integration of Education — a Requirement of the New Era”, organized by the Kaplanbek Higher Agrarian and Technical College.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss effective mechanisms for introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process, to enhance the professional competencies of teaching staff, and to develop the system of agricultural education through the application of innovative approaches and digital solutions. Representatives of scientific organizations, educational institutions, and practitioners from the agricultural sector took part in the conference.

During the event, scientists of KazNIIZhiK emphasized the growing role of modern AI tools in agricultural science and education, presented examples of their practical application, and demonstrated new methods for assessing the semen quality of breeding rams using the ISperm device. The presented technologies make it possible to improve the accuracy of breeding work and the efficiency of reproduction in animal husbandry.

In addition, as part of the conference, a new textbook titled “Animal Husbandry”, developed with due regard to modern scientific achievements and the requirements of educational standards, was presented. This publication is aimed at improving the quality of training of future specialists and developing relevant professional competencies among students.

The conference marked an important stage in the development of scientific cooperation between the institute and educational organizations, contributed to the exchange of experience, the discussion of innovative ideas, and the promotion of digital technologies in the system of agricultural education.
