Science Day: field seminar of the institute

In honor of the Science Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the staff of the Forage Production and Pastures Department of the Kazakh Research Institute of Livestock and Forage Production organized a scientific and practical field seminar for students at the “Köldi” station.

During the event, students were introduced to forage crops sown and cultivated by the institute’s researchers. In particular, the biological characteristics, productivity, and efficient utilization methods of plants such as crested wheatgrass, fescue, izen, and alfalfa were explained.

In addition, modern scientific approaches to the rational use of pastures and the strengthening of the forage base for livestock farming were presented. The seminar also showcased the results of scientific research and the possibilities of applying them under production conditions.

Scientists emphasized the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This event is one of the important steps aimed at strengthening the connection between science and production, as well as improving the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex.
