Advanced Training in the FEI System for the Development of Kazakh Equestrian Sport

From February 5 to 16, 2026, an official business trip to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was carried out for the purpose of completing specialized international courses within the system of the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI).

During the trip, the following educational programs were completed:

“Official Competition Testing Specialist”

“Official Endurance Expert”.

These courses are aimed at training and improving the qualifications of specialists involved in organizing and conducting international equestrian competitions, particularly in the endurance discipline.

The training program includes the study of FEI international regulations, competition requirements, veterinary control procedures, horse testing, as well as principles ensuring fairness and transparency in competitions. FEI officials are required to possess in-depth knowledge of international competition rules and standards and represent the federation during international-level tournaments.

Completion of these courses is a necessary stage for obtaining the first-star international FEI judging qualification, which allows the specialist to participate in officiating and organizing international endurance competitions.

The acquired knowledge and qualifications also provide opportunities to:

• participate in officiating and technical support of international equestrian competitions under the auspices of the FEI;

• provide official support for Kazakh horse breeds participating in international endurance competitions;

• contribute to the integration of domestic horse breeding and Kazakh horse breeds into the international sports arena;

• apply international standards of competition management and veterinary control in national practice.

Thus, completion of these courses contributes to improving the professional qualifications of specialists, as well as to the development and promotion of Kazakh equestrian sport and Kazakh horse breeds at the international level.
