Independence Day Event Held at KazNIIZhiK

The Kazakh Research Institute of Livestock and Fodder Production (KazNIIZhiK) held a ceremonial event dedicated to December 16 — Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The festive gathering brought together institute staff and aimed to strengthen patriotic spirit, respect for historical heritage, and the values of an independent state.

During the event, a brief historical overview of Kazakhstan’s path to independence was presented, highlighting key stages and significant events in national history. The ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the December 1986 events, paying tribute to those who showed courage and dedication in the struggle for the country’s freedom and independence.

Historical quizzes and intellectual activities were organized to expand knowledge about the events of December 1986 and to foster a conscious understanding of the nation’s history. In honor of the heroes who defended independence, a traditional commemorative meal was held, accompanied by patriotic songs symbolizing unity, solidarity, and continuity between generations.
