Science and AI: The Institute at “QAZAQSTAN AI FOR SCIENCE”

On 17 September 2026, the First Open Conceptual Session “QAZAQSTAN AI FOR SCIENCE”, organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held in Almaty.
Representatives of the Kazakh Research Institute of Livestock and Fodder Production LLP, which is part of the National Agrarian Science and Educational Center NJSC, took part in the session, familiarized themselves with the approaches presented, and discussed current areas for the application of artificial intelligence in scientific activities.
The session covered modern approaches to the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research — from hypothesis generation and modeling to conducting experiments, independent validation of results, and the practical implementation of new knowledge.
Particular attention was paid to the potential of AI in planning and monitoring scientific research, processing large datasets, improving analytical accuracy, and accelerating scientifically grounded decision-making.
Such platforms contribute to the development of interdisciplinary cooperation, the integration of digital technologies into science, and the formation of new approaches to conducting research in Kazakhstan.
